When it comes to food now-a-days, speed is a must for most people, but why should you have to give up taste for fast food? Your health for that matter? Well, today I wanted a hamburger, but I didn't feel like taking out a huge frying pan, spraying it, letting it heat up for a few minutes and cooking my hamburger for ten minutes or more. Not to mention the clean-up afterwords, and I had to be to out of the house by 2:30 and it was around 1:45, so I had to figure out a way to cook my hamburger fast without whipping out the frying pan and cleaning the huge mess later. I don't know why, but I suddenly had the idea to put it in the microwave to cook, along with some spices and what-not to make it taste good. I did just that and I just discovered a way to make fast food that is hot and fresh and better than fast-food restaurants, (probably healthier too!). Under
seven minutes I was able to make a perfect burger without having a huge mess afterwords. This was all thanks to a little creativity, a bowl, and my hamburger patty/spices. Here is the recipe for the burger I created, but you add or take away whatever you want from it to have your own perfect burger!
IngredientsOne hamburger/turkey patty
Three teaspoons or tablespoons (depending on you) of hot sauce
Fresh, chopped onion and garlic(or dried)
Onion powder
Adobo
Italian Dressing of your choice
DirectionsPut all of your ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and put in microwave for 10 minutes. Sfter 4-5 minutes, open the microwave and check on your hamburger. It should be almost done unless you want it rare, and you should then flip it over and let it cook for another minute or so. When done, serve with your favorite toppings and you have the perfect, made under 7 minute, burger!
Additions, comments, and ideas are welcome!

The other day I was in a rush (as always) to get lunch together in the morning before school. I hadn't made any rice the night before and I was stuck on how I could make rice quickly without having to take out pots and pans in order to do so. Then a wonderful idea popped into my head: what is I
microwaved it? I would just have to put the rice in a microwave safe bowl with the right amount of water and it should cook in about 7-10 minutes. So I did just that, and the result was the same as if I had boiled it: perfect rice! And the time is cut down because you don't have to wait until the water boils, and you can use that time to add in onion powder and what-not. I like microwaving better because with stoves you have to sit there and keep on stirring and stirring and keep staring and staring until it's done. With a microwave I can just put it in and go about my business. But that's just me xD
And other ideas people have would be welcome =)
